(Bergen, Norway) - Aventa Group Managing Director James C. Moore will deliver the keynote speech to an international conference of European broadcasters, writers, and media executives convening in Northern Norway. The Nordic Media Festival (NMF) is a conference aimed at bringing together the various professions within the media industry, other related fields and media scholars.

"His background as an author and long time television news correspondent, as well as many years of reporting on the American president, make him an ideal speaker for our gathering."
Moore's address, to be delivered at the Wednesday, May 11 opening of the conference, is entitled, "The Problems and Promises of America."
Moore, who manages crisis communications and media relations strategies for Aventa's clients, is an Emmy award-winning news correspondent whose work has taken him across the globe, covering numerous issues from energy to technology and politics. His on-air work as a correspondent appeared frequently on CNN, CBS, and NBC. His professional honors include an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio-Television News Directors' Association, and the Individual Broadcast Achievement Award from the Texas Headliners' Foundation. He was frequently named Best Television Reporter in Texas by the Associated Press, United Press International, and the Houston Press Club.
The Nordic Media Festival involves lectures, debates, workshops, and film screenings. 700 journalists and media executives from across the EU attended last year's conference in Bergen. Key topics for this year's festival are representations of war and warfare in the media, political documentaries, the US elections.
